This significant foreshore open space at the northern end of the Rhodes Peninsula, offers viewing and seating areas to capitalise on the views to Meadowbank and the Parramatta River. Part of a continuous corridor of open space, pedestrian and cycle links extend from Bicentennial Park to the Leeds Street Foreshore. The history of the site is acknowledged via a shelter with laser cut wheat sheaves, pre-cast concrete walls, decorated with a representation of the now demolished mill building and Jane Cavanagh’s (Artlandish) sandstone feed sacks.
