The Practice was engaged by Andreas Antoniades Architects to document the public realm and landscape in a competition entry for an apartment complex within the Northbourne Avenue Precinct. The landscape scheme incorporates a series of communal and public spaces that are guided by best practice in WSUD & ESD. ‘People friendly’ spaces provide opportunities for passive recreation. Three large plazas provide pedestrian connections. Site lines connect focal points such as large native trees. The layout provides access to residential areas with social seating and gathering areas & al fresco dining adjacent to retail areas.
