The redesign of Bayview Investments’ “The Masters” at West Bayview, was undertaken to improve a landscape scheme that did not meet client or market expectations for multi-million dollar apartments. The high end resort landscape uses advanced plant stock, with on-site direction undertaken to great effect. Specimen trees, palms and accent planting of Alcantarea, Cordyline, Zamia furfuracea, Doryanthes, Asplenium and Furcraea foetida, lift the presentation to the entry and advanced planting softens the built form. Advanced specimens of Waterhousia “Sweeper”, Acmena smithii minor and Syzgium provide additional privacy to bedroom windows along pathways.
