Mary O Brien Reserve covers approximately 6000m2 and forms a critical link and green open space areas for residents of the rapidly growing Victoria Park area. Situated on busy Joynton Avenue amongst the post industrial building facades and new ‘café residential areas of Zetland’. A smaller existing park, additional land and a lane way were consolidated into this one larger space containing large iconic existing Fig trees, new tree planting, timber walkways, Barbecue facilities, adventure and water play facilities, artworks, raised deck areas and shade structures along with open lawn space and water capture gardens.
