Hinchinbrook Creek has a high ecological significance with remnants of Cumberland Plain, Shale Plains & Alluvial Woodlands communities. The design and project management of this bush regeneration and revegetation project for Mirvac/ Landcom involved bio-engineering works to a relocated creek channel and batters. Best practice environmental design techniques were integrated, with rockwork, soil logs and recycled felled trees specified for soil stablisation and habitat creation. Significant trees were located & site planning ensured minimal disruption. Seed collection and sourcing of indigenous species was co-ordinated & plants were contract grown.
