This project included streetscape public domain and private communal podium area. Manipulating the private courtyards we were able to generate a break out leisure space that could overcome the existing site constraints. A supersized timber clad ‘flop out’ bench, a BBQ area and dramatic living floral sculpture over dedicated deep soil. With no set down provided to other areas a sophisticated combination of seating walls, concrete edges and mounding allowed good depth for trees and dramatic planting presenting out to surrounding paths and generating semi screened leisure areas.
