Murrays Beach on the Wallarah Peninsula is a master planned community on 605ha. Bounded by the Pacific Ocean and Lake Macquarie, it provides panoramic views over ocean, lake and bushland. Integrating the concepts of conservation with sustainable urban development, a series of local village settlements build on the natural beauty of the landscapes of the Peninsula, encouraging the community to enjoy and respect the expanses of the protected bushland, wildlife habitat and open spaces. Bushland management plans and specification of regeneration and revegetation works were prepared in addition to designing prototype endemic residential gardens.
