Forest Lodge

Prior to its redevelopment, Orphan School Creek Gully at Forest consisted of mainly exotic vegetation along a creek line enclosed in a Sydney Water culvert.  Our aim was to increase the diversity of local flora and fauna while maintaining existing communities and public amenity. Originally designed in conjunction with the National Trust (NSW) Bush Management section the project was completed with Frasers Development in 2009. Extensive public consultation was carried out with the National Trust, South Sydney, City of Sydney and Leichhardt Councils, FRROGs and other community stakeholders.
